Welcome to the Midland Section
We cover the area from Lincoln in the North to Luton in the South, Cambridge in the East to
Derby in the West.
We meet at a number of regular venues throughout the year. Our events diary includes various
regular meets, camping and hotel breaks, ride outs and socials. Many of our 200 or so members
join in with events organised by other sections around the UK, and of course The Annual
National Rally.
All our events are advertised on this website and in The Journal. If you are visiting one of
our events for the first time please contact one of our committee members so that we can look
out for you.
Why not join us?
The BMW Club membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over, who currently owns or who has previously owned or has an interest in BMW motorcycles. The United Kingdom has been divided into a number of regional sections for local membership (of which the Midland section is one).The Club has Registers that specifically cover those interested in sporting, sidecars, GS models, and vintage models and each of these sections/registers welcomes club members participation in events. In addition the Sporting Register organises track days for those interested in experiencing riding their motorcycles on recognised circuits. The Club has a tool hire service, an online forum and a monthly magazine named The Journal. Club sections, registers and national committees actively organise events throughout the year which are open to all members. When joining The BMW Club you can indicate whichever section you live in and registers that you are interested in and then it is suggested that you review the section and register events and come along to one of their meetings.
