Vosges/Black Forest Tour
Date: 31/05/2026 to 14/06/2026
We will sail on the evening of Sunday 31st May and arrive back Sunday morning 14th June, either via Newcastle/Amsterdam or Hull/Rotterdam. Everyone will be responsible for booking their own Ferry passage. The following hotels are booked (see Goggle links for details) • Our overnight France stop in both Directions (1st and 12th June) will be the Auberge in Saint l’Abbaye, where we have stayed previously. https://maps.app.goo.gl/WonxuhKPY6uPqtPr8 • Our base for 5 nights in the Vosges mountains in France will be Colmar. https://maps.app.goo.gl/xamj8dy7sDFv3qVD8 • Our base for 5 nights in the Black Forest will be Gengenbach https://maps.app.goo.gl/diQBdxYbMYsxUN9e7 The total estimated cost for Hotels is £1,141 per rider, so an average cost of £95 per night which includes breakfast and parking fees for everywhere apart from our 2 nights in France en route. These costs assume everyone will have their own room, if you want to buddy up that will reduce your outlay accordingly. Obviously, these prices can change but hopefully it gives you a pretty good indication of the likely costs involved. The plan is to have 4 full days riding in both locations which should all be memorable mountain motorcycling, I am in the process of putting the routes together. The journey to and from the Channel will be a mixture of motorway, dual carriageway and country roads. It is approx 490 miles each way spread over 2 days.
