After breakfast we ride out to The Naze at Walton-on-the Naze where we visit the Naze Tower. Constructed in 1720 by Trinity House as a guiding beacon for ships entering Harwich Harbour, it was opened to the public for the first time a few years ago. There is a parking fee of £1.00 for first hour – if longer then pay another £1.00
For a small charge we can climb the spiral stairs up to the top, passing several floors with art exhibitions on the wall.
At the top there are stupendous views from of the surrounding area including Harwich Harbour and Walton-on-the-Naze and the Walton Backwaters.

Light lunches and teas are available here.
