For the first time this year there will be
two bikes to be won in the BMW Club National Raffle, the First prize
based on value will be a 2015 BMW G650GS with 890 miles on the clock,
obviously with such a low mileage it's in good condition and has some
extras, heated grips, ABS and centre stand, it is Datataged and there
will also be some new panels fitted before the draw. The Second prize
in the BMW Club National Raffle is a 1994 BMW R80RT, this bike has
done about 113,000 miles in its 22 year life, it has had a total of
seven owners and has lots of service history, both by BMW dealers and
independents, it's in tidy but not perfect condition and comes with
BMW Panniers. There will be a 3rd prize with a Value of about £250, what
this will actually be has not been decided yet but I will have this in place by the
time the draw is made at the National Rally in Llandovery on Saturday
27th August.
Three books of tickets will be sent to
every member with the June Issue of The Journal, more tickets will
be available from me if three books is not enough for you, I can be
contacted by email at cliff@twowheeltrekkers.co.uk or by telephone
during shop hours on 01787 372901 or send an SAE and cheque payable
to The BMW Club and a note saying how many more tickets you want. To
enter please fill out the stubs and return them to the address on
the ticket (Cliff Batley, BMW Club, 46 Newmans Road, Sudbury, Suffolk
CO10 1UA).
Please keep the big part of the tickets
as your proof of entry. Please also make sure you include your
membership number and a contact number, if you are using those
little address stickers please do not stick them over the ticket
number and remember the raffle is only open to full and associate
Club members, not to your children, sisters or uncles, if the name
on the ticket does not match the membership database then the ticket
will be either amended to show the members name or not entered in
the draw, legally we can only except entries from the members of the
Club.
One last thing, PLEASE do not use
sellotape to seal the envelopes this makes the job of opening
hundreds of envelopes very difficult. If you want to be sure that
your tickets arrive I would suggest sending them by recorded,
tracked or signed for post.
