We would ideally like 8 to 10 BMW bikes to display on our Club stand.  Even if you can’t offer us your bike on the day but still intend to attend the show then please do come and say Hi to us – you can have a hot drink and we’d welcome your help in chatting to visitors about the Club.

 

If you can spend the day with us (and of course you’ll have time to go wander round the show too) then please read on:

 

If you volunteer then here’s what you would be letting yourselves in for:

 

• I’d need you to prepare at least one sheet of A4 paper with details about your bike, I can provide you a form to help with that – I can even print it off and laminate it for you
• You need to be there before 08:30 on the Sunday morning (which leaves us 30 minutes to get all the bikes lined up to maximise the appeal before the gates open at 09:00)
• If you arrive before 08:30 then you will get a bacon butty (or two)
• We’d like you to spend most of the day hanging around the stand talking to visitors about your bike and the Club, ideally persuading them to join our merry group (Dik will be on hand all day to sign folks up on the spot)
• We’ve got a filter coffee machine and a kettle so coffee, tea and possibly hot chocolate will be available
• The show generally starts to go quiet at 16:00 so some Clubs leave around then and we certainly start to put bits away from then onward.

 

This year Dave White has volunteered to organise the stand so please let him know as soon as possible if you wish to come along with your bike and help, his details are below. Of course the volunteers will get free entry to the show but he'll need to know who is coming (so if you are bringing your pillion then please let me know) so he can send you the right number of tickets beforehand.

We will have the usual big banners and two picnic tables but there will be a limited number of chairs – bring comfortable shoes!
